Fireplace App Reviews

This app does display a crackling fire, even if the windowed mode now has an ad, not reflected in the screen shot. On my MacBook Pro, however, the loop is not quite seamless, as it has a momentary hitch when it hits the end of the loop. Just enough to call attention to itself.

HOW DO YOU UNISTALL?!!!

The fire looks like its on fast forward & the crackling noise is on a short loop so you hear the same loud crackle every 2 seconds so its pretty annoying after a short time.

its like im in a fire place! I love this app! this app is like im in a real fireplace!!!!

i thought this was going to be the background….. well it not its horrible app and considering what they did to the last people who paid for this im not going to upgrade or keep this one…. shame…..

Really nice app…. specially for those romantic times in winter nights where a light is too much and switching all off and u cant see anything…. a poor mans fireplace ( pun intended :) but sure is far more ecofreindly… only if they could add a paid feature where the laptop overheats to give the complete real effect

Its just kind of stupid and pointless. I probably only used it once or twice, thats it. I wish theyd add more special effects, different fireplaces, and if possible, maybe even a "douse" button. You press it and water would be poured all over the fire, thatd be cool. It IS fun impressing my friends but still, add some more features. :P

whats relaxing? jazz music? no. a comfy bed? closer. a cozy fire? DING DING!! we have a winner! this app is realy relaxing and soothing. i like it!

Never had any problems with it. It does not do much but what do you expect from this type of app. Very fun for what it is.
